Can AutoMEP set up drawing sheets and give me a PDF?
Yes. Ask for sheets, for example "put the ground floor and the first floor on their own sheets", and AutoMEP builds them rather than handing back model space and leaving the layout to you. Asking for permit drawings or planning drawings counts as asking for sheets, so you get a set without naming each one.
What you get: landscape sheets at a standard paper size, each showing only the floor or view it's for at a standard architectural scale, a viewport framed to the drawing rather than to the paper, so a portrait floor plan is not left floating in an empty box, sheet lettering sized to be readable at the plotted scale, and a legend on a sheet of its own instead of crowded into the corner of a plan. Every sheet is previewable on the project page, not just the first one, and a plotted PDF is produced alongside the drawing.
No sheets in your drawing? The PDF is plotted from the drawing itself. The first page shows the whole drawing, and when it holds separate areas, such as floor plans laid out side by side, each area follows on a page of its own, enlarged so you can read it.
If the lettering would come out unreadable, AutoMEP stops the job and returns your usage rather than delivering a sheet you would have to redo. Plotted text size cannot be corrected after the fact, so it is checked before you are charged for it.
