What does the time saved report show?

Every project has a time saved report. Open it from Time saved in the project's top bar in Expert (in the account menu on a phone), or beside the project name in Guided. It gives a rough idea of how much drafting the work AutoMEP delivered on that project could have saved you, written in words like "an afternoon" or "a few days".

It's an estimate. For each finished request, AutoMEP looks at what kind of edit it was (ductwork, piping, fixtures, sheets, tags, notes and so on), how much it changed, and whether it was a DWG or a Revit model, then compares that with typical drafting effort for the same edit by hand. It keeps the estimate low on purpose: a request that applied with warnings counts for less, and no single request counts for more than a day.

Only requests that changed your drawing count. Answers to questions, requests that changed nothing, and jobs that failed are left out, so a new project or one with nothing delivered yet shows an empty report.

The report lists each request under its drawing with a rough by-hand estimate. Use Print or save as PDF to share it with your team or a client. Your own team's drafting speed will differ, so treat it as a rough guide.
