How to Generate Power Plans and Home Runs with AutoMEP
Ask for receptacles around the living room and kitchen on a 20 amp circuit. AutoMEP draws duplex symbols along the walls, adds the panel and routes the home run back to it, tagged and on standard electrical layers. On a project that uses the NEC, receptacles are now spaced to NEC 210.52: no point along a wall more than 6 feet from one, and kitchen counters get their own receptacles on two small-appliance circuits, marked GFI.
