Version 1.10
October 2026
AutoMEP Version 1.10 brings Guided mode, a short chat that sets up your project, plus one request on several drawings and wiring for lights you already have.
What changed
- Guided mode: drop a drawing on the home page or your dashboard and the AutoMEP Agent sets up the project through a short chat. Each project then opens as a conversation, with every request and its result in order. Expert, the full dashboard, is one click away, and the switch at the top of the page moves between them.
- Several drawings in Guided: the drawing menu in the request box switches between each drawing's thread. Pick Add a drawing there, or drop a file anywhere on the page, and AutoMEP asks whether it joins this project or starts a new one.
- Folders and stars in both modes: star a project or file it in a folder from Guided's project list, and Expert shows it the same way.
- One request on several drawings: under the request box, open Also run on other drawings and tick the drawings that should get the same change. Each one runs as its own job, and its result appears in that drawing's own thread.
- Wire the lights you already have: ask AutoMEP to wire the lights in your drawing to junction boxes and on to a panel. It finds the lights, even ones drawn with plain lines instead of blocks, and draws the circuits and homeruns with their tags in a color that stands apart from the lights.
- Doors are respected: receptacles and wall devices stay clear of each door's swing, doorway widths come from the doors in your drawing, and the job notes say where the switches went.
- Walls read the way you drew them: dashed lines on a wall layer, like a beam or a slab edge above, are no longer treated as walls, and symbols placed room by room land inside their own room, on its wall.
- Text clear of the furniture: notes and labels AutoMEP adds move off furniture and other text so they stay readable.
- Two floors in one file: when one drawing holds two floor plans, AutoMEP treats them as separate floors rather than one big plan.
- Readable hatches: area hatches keep a sensible line spacing, and the viewer shows rotated hatch patterns the way they're drawn.
- One sheet, one PDF page: parts of a drawing inside the same sheet frame print together on one PDF page, and content near a page's edge is no longer cut off.
- Revit plumbing and equipment: drains join their mains with tees and drops, and fixtures, air terminals and devices go on the right floor, wall or ceiling. If one change can't be made, only that change is left out and the rest of the job still lands.
- Revit release on each file: every Revit model shows the release that saved it, and a Revit download names its release too. If you said Not now to upgrading an older model, you can change your mind without uploading it again.
- Walkthrough videos: the new Videos page collects short walkthroughs of AutoMEP features, changelog items link to the video that shows them, and help articles play theirs at the top.
- Plan changes keep your usage: an upgrade adds the difference to the usage you have left, and a downgrade waits for your renewal.
- Clearer card notices: if your card is declined, AutoMEP says so everywhere and points you to update it, rather than offering a trial. Depending on where you are, your bank may ask you to confirm your card when you save it.
- Fair turns at busy times: when many jobs are waiting, customers take turns, so one large batch never holds up everyone else.
- Results land in view: a result that finishes while you have the project open shows in the viewer right away, and the review at the end of each job is written to you and says what to check.
