Version 1.2
April 2026
AutoMEP Version 1.2 adds full Revit file support for Revit 2024, 2025, and 2026, plus reliability improvements and clearer job status handling.
What changed
- Revit support: AutoMEP now fully supports Revit .rvt files for Revit 2024, 2025, and 2026. Upload any Revit model and describe your MEP changes in your own words, and AutoMEP applies them directly to the Revit model.Watch: How to Add Air Ducts to Revit Files with AutoMEP
- Revit HVAC operations: place supply and return air ducts, insert air terminals (diffusers, grilles), and add mechanical equipment to your Revit model.Watch: How to Add Air Ducts to Revit Files with AutoMEP
- Revit plumbing operations: add pipe runs, insert plumbing fixtures (sinks, toilets, floor drains), and connect to existing pipe systems.
- Revit electrical operations: place electrical equipment, insert lighting fixtures, and create electrical circuits connected to panels.Watch: Auto-Place & Circuit Lighting Plans in AutoMEP
- Revit version auto-detection: AutoMEP reads the Revit file header to automatically detect the version (2024, 2025, or 2026) and applies edits using the correct Revit engine.
- Clarification timeout: Jobs in Needs Clarification status now expire after 48 hours. If AutoMEP asks a follow-up question and does not receive a response within 48 hours, the job closes and one job of usage is counted for the analysis work completed.
- Reliability improvements: AI planning errors and timeouts are now captured with structured diagnostics. All job outcomes including failures now record full cost and token usage for transparency.Watch: No Vague Errors: How AutoMEP Protects Your Usage
