AutoMEP Version 1.3 adds a 7-day free trial, redesigned sign-in with magic link and Microsoft account support, and a self-serve subscription management guide.

What changed

  • Free trial: All new accounts now start with a 7-day free trial. A card is required to begin the trial, but you won't be charged until the trial ends. Cancel any time from Settings before the trial period ends.
  • Magic link sign-in: Sign in without a password by entering your email and clicking the one-click link sent to your inbox. No account setup required. Version 1.5 replaced magic links with one email and password form, and a forgotten password is now reset by email.
  • Password setup prompt: After signing in with a magic link for the first time, AutoMEP prompts you to set a password so you can use either method going forward. Since Version 1.5 there is no magic link to follow up: you choose your password when you create your account.
  • Microsoft account sign-in: Sign in with any personal or work Microsoft account using the 'Sign in with Microsoft' option on the sign-in page.
  • Magic link fallback: If a password sign-in fails, AutoMEP now offers to send a magic link automatically so you're never locked out. Since Version 1.5, a failed sign-in points you to Reset password, which emails you a link to set a new one.
  • Self-serve cancellation guide: A new help article with a step-by-step walkthrough video shows how to cancel your trial or subscription from Settings → Manage Billing.Watch: How to Cancel Your AutoMEP Trial
  • Job reliability: Improved detection of jobs that are still running prevents false timeouts where jobs were incorrectly marked as failed while still processing.Watch: Auto-Generate Power Plans in the Cloud with AutoMEP
