Version 1.7
October 2026
AutoMEP Version 1.7 lets you upload your own title blocks, choose a default for your account and a different one per project, and have new sheets carry them.
What changed
- Your own title blocks: under Settings, Your title blocks, upload a .dwg or .dwt file and AutoMEP checks it, shows you a preview and asks you to confirm which title block to use when it isn't sure. Inch and millimeter title blocks both work.
- You decide what fills each field: project name, job number, address, sheet number, sheet title, date, scale, a value you set per project, or leave it blank. The date follows your account's own timezone and date format.
- A default for the account and a choice per project: pick the title block each project uses, or none, and enter that project's own values on its page. Changes apply to new requests.
- Sheets that match your drawing: when your drawing already has its own title block, new sheets match it. Sheets already in the drawing are never changed.
- Metric title blocks print a metric scale: a millimeter title block's scale field shows a standard metric ratio.
- Linked drawings without binding: put the drawings yours links to (xrefs) in the same project, as loose files, a zip or a whole folder, and AutoMEP shows them in the viewer, your results and the PDF. The drawing you get back still links to them, and if one is missing, AutoMEP asks before it runs and takes no usage.
- Permit and planning sets: asking for permit drawings or planning drawings now gets you a set of sheets, each framed to the floor or area it's for.
