Can AutoMEP add dimensions to my drawing?

Yes. Aligned, angular, radial and ordinate dimensions, asked for in your own words, for example "add aligned dimensions giving the overall width and depth of the Living room and the Kitchen".

It works out the real scale of your drawing first. A DWG records the units it thinks it is in, and that field is wrong more often than you would like. AutoMEP checks the geometry against the units before it dimensions anything, so the numbers read the way a person would expect rather than being out by a factor of twelve or forty.

Dimensions come out with proper extension lines and ticks, using the dimension style already in your drawing where there is one. If the units in your file genuinely cannot be worked out from the geometry, AutoMEP asks you which they are instead of picking one.
