Can AutoMEP add leader notes and equipment call-outs?

Yes. Ask for the note and what it should point at, for example "add leader notes pointing at the Kitchen, the Dining room and the Living room, each one calling out the supply air requirement for that room in CFM", or "tag every diffuser with its airflow".

The text height matches your drawing rather than a default, because it is read from the lettering already in the file. That is what makes the note plot at the right size instead of coming out as a speck or a banner.

Notes go on their own annotation layer, so they can be frozen for a clean plot and thawed again for issue. The same request style covers equipment tags with values in them, for example VAV-1 at 800 CFM, and section markers and pipe slope labels.

If a note has nowhere sensible to land, AutoMEP will say so in the notes on the finished job rather than dropping the text on top of your plan.
